BIA, the PericoPrincess is no stranger to the hustle. She has sacrificed everything to follow her dreams and to inspire others, "I just want to be an inspiration to people, especially girls. You don’t have to be something you’re not."

She was first discovered by Star Trak legacy artist, FAMLAY, after he watched her video, “I’m High,” on YouTube. “Her rap was raw and real,” which inspired him to work with BIA while she further developed her craft. He then introduced her to longtime friend, PHARRELL WILLIAMS, who upon meeting her, challenged her to write 16 bars to a beat on the spot. BIA accepted the challenge and delivered. Her rapid-fire thinking and determination won him over and he signed her to his creative collective, i am OTHER. In the months that followed, she was signed by Peter Edge to RCA Records. With the release of her mixtape, CHOLASEASON, in November 2014, BIA established herself as one of hip hop’s fiercest female MCs.

The success from songs such as “All Around the World”, “Medusa” and “La Tirana” supercharged her street cred and growing stardom. The Christian Rich produced track, “Bobby Brown,” which is the first single from her upcoming release KNOCK ON WOOD, ignited and fulfilled the streets’ craving for more BIA. The “Whip It” music video has generated over 1.75 million views across several media platforms, opening the door for her catchy and charismatic third single, “Gucci Comin’ Home” – a tribute to the ATL’s one and only Guwop. BIA Is a performer, " I like to think of the best shows I ever saw and what made them great, then implement those elements into my own set. I feed off of the crowd." She has performed at AC3, Art Basel, Revolt Music Festival, SXSW and Pusha-T's Darkest Before the Dawn Tour.
